Real women who gave themselves the gift of sexy and slim.
Why settle for flowers, jewelry, or spa treatments when you can have a brand new you?
Plastic surgery isn’t right for everyone — and is definitely a lot more expensive than a dozen roses — but many women do take this holiday as a time to pamper themselves and give back to their bodies what years of motherhood has taken away.
“We definitely see cycles for cosmetic surgery and March/April are very popular times. Not only for Mother’s Day, but getting ready for the summer. Many patients don’t want to recover when it is very hot in the summer. Or, more commonly, they are trying get their bodies beach-ready,” revealed Dr. Steele.
He says that the procedures women ask for in the spring are the same as what women want every season: Bigger boobs and smaller stomachs. “The most common procedures mirror the annual trends- breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tucks. Mommy makeover combination procedures are also very common. The request for consults tend to go down at the end of the summer as everyone gets ready for school. It then picks up again around Christmas time,” he said.

“I’m 42, and have been planning on doing this for a long time. I’ve always been unhappy with the size of my breasts, and with three widely spaced children, my abdomen leaves much to be desired. I’m getting the TT with no lipo, and BA. I want to be feeling good by Mother’s Day, and plan to be stunningly confident in my mother-of-the-groom’s dress at my son’s wedding next summer.” – Mpls42yo

“I recently purchased a “Mother’s Day Special” that included 2 IPL treatments, several microdermabrasion, and some prescription skin care products. I had my IPL’s four weeks apart, with microdermabrasion two weeks after each treatment. My goal was to treat sun damage on my “T-zone” area, and early signs of aging. I’m 35 with fair skin and hair. Overall I’m pleased with the appearance of my skin.”– bblj04
